A cream-to-foam cleanser with 4% benzoyl peroxide, CeraVe's first acne-treatment cleanser at this concentration. Formulated with hyaluronic acid to help retain moisture and niacinamide to help calm skin, alongside three ceramides that support the skin barrier. Fragrance-free, paraben-free, and non-comedogenic.
Start with one use a day and build to twice daily if needed. Apply a dime-sized amount to damp skin, massage gently, avoid the eye area, and rinse well. If dryness or peeling is bothersome, cut back to once a day or every other day. Apply sunscreen afterwards if going outside.
Pros, cons and how-to-use notes are Derminology's own opinion and suggestions, based on ingredients we've matched to published clinical evidence and on the brand's directions. They are general information, not medical advice. Always follow the label, patch test new products, and ask a doctor or dermatologist if you have a skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or use prescription treatments.
